I think iexec disadvantage in hype department is complexity and doing 20 things at same time. Nomi and trader heads just wont compute such amount of data and they choose one trick project that is years behind iexec AT ONE SINGLE THING

Not really, RLC won't surprise anyone, just like LINK didn't... Everyone was talking about LINK for 3 years, just like with RLC. And biz was 50/50 on the love/hate relationship with it... Which is also true for RLC. Just look back at LINK threads from 2-4 years ago. It was exactly the same. A lot of people even did it to accumulate of course.

. Other crypto projects need off-chain computing and RLC is the only one that does it right...

1) You can't cheat on a blockchain (except if 51% attacks), ETH already makes sure of this, since RLC is a 2nd layer thing and the security is provided by the 1st layer which is ETH.

2) What GDPR and SLA compliance? wtf, you just buy more power if you need it done faster. It's already GDPR compliant in sense, since it's done in a TEE (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trusted_execution_environment))

3) As I already said earlier, if you want it done faster, you buy more computing power

4) This can never be cheaper than RLC, since data centers are expensive. And as I already mentioned before when you buy AWS power you also pay for the upkeep of the data center, instead of just paying for the raw computing power

5) Well, you were saying that shit about GDPR compliance. This part basicly solved that, if it's verified by the blockchain then it's legit and wasn't tempered with or abused by a 3rd entity, because everyone can see the smart contract and check it for code that is a "bad actor"

6) Can't argue much here. I can agree on this point. Yes, their scope is too big, their manpower too small. But if people start using it they'll hire more people and improve it of course. But you have to realize that he whole crypto sector is in it's infancy/adoption phase. This project is no exception !

7) Yes and no, the token itself provides the provides the trust we need that no one is tempering with the data and miss using it. That's why you need this token.

I hope I could at least answer some of your questions/concerns. But yes, I can agree on some of your points

Theoretically, if I lived in the USA and I wanted to not pay taxes on crypto, could I gift that money to a friend who lives out of country who almost has a U.S Visa currently. Their country only has 5% taxes on crypto. So if I gave them my funds, once they became a United States citizen could they gift me the money equal to what it would be worth (say 4 million dollars hypothetically)? In the USA you can give away 11.4 million dollars tax free, and the only person taxed is the giver. The receiver never has to pay taxes on the gift. Could this work?
