At a minimum I do 500 M/W/F as my core strategy relies on the availability of 0DTE SPX options combined with /ES or /NQ futures.
I had one failure last year (the day Trump got covid, it was a Tuesday iirc which cemented my need for 0DTE SPX availability) and one failure in January where I tried to use 2DTE SPX options instead.
Every so often I'll play Sunday futures opening or after market, but I'm less comfortable when there is lower volume.
