In fourth grade my school had really good chocolate chip cookies.

The price was ten cents a cookie or 25 cents for three. This blew my mind as a kid. I typically had about ten or fifteen cents extra from lunch or enough for one cookie. I realized that all I had to do was save my cookie money for three days or so and I saved 5 cents. Basically a free cookie in 6 days.

I had learned the value of saving money, buying in bulk and patience. I took it a little to the extreme. Saved for almost two weeks. Enough to buy 9 cookies at one time!

The lesson was almost complete. Then a little nigger kid begged for a cookie. I tried to explain that I had saved for two weeks to do this. Told them no. They swore and called me fat. In the end though no cookie for him!
