I can't find my pic. Anyhow, here's an alternative. It's less impressive but it clearly shows the effect. Both lines (in the upper chart and lower chart) mark the 2000 high. The lower chart is a 3x nasdaq simulation. Nasdaq broke even in 2016 while 3x ndx is still down 98%. Nasdaq now up 180% whily 3x nasdaq still down massively. Lev. etfs are great if you can time them well but you have to be fundamentally retarded to "invest" in them in a late stage bull market.
