The coin existed since mid-2016 and was initially advertised as "helping" the Trump campaign win.

Despite this its only significant flare happened when Trump was inaugurated; nevermind that there is no reason why his inauguration should make the Trumpcoin more valuable than when he won in November, it simply contradicted the coins purpose.

What happened clearly is its creators shilled it for inauguration day and pumped & dumped it; and when they didn't bother shilling for november 9th (another 'magical' moment like inauguration) accordingly nothing happened.

The lesson learnt is that /pol/ falls retardedly fast for memes, and to successfully extort them you need to flood them with memes & shilling in a hit and run tactic; they will do the rest of the work for you, spreading your memes between themselves for a few hours before it all comes crashing down, like an instantaneous pyramid scheme.

Choose another 'magical' date when 'something' is meant to happen that excites /pol/ and repeat.
