Okay, kinda long but here's the deal.

Thursday I bout a prepaid card preloaded with 30 bucks with the intention of purchasing checks for my checking account online (bank account was in the negative at the moment) and placed the order the same day.

Fast forward to Saturday. My bank account was back in the good, so I went to get gas and accidentally used the prepaid card to buy 20 worth of gas. I called the company that prints my checks, and they said they shipped out today so the charge should appear on the card by tomorrow.

The card wont have the funds.

What are the chances that this comes back to bite me in the ass?

Remember what's on the horizon in 2018:
- PoS with staking and better scaling
- ether deliverable futures
- Raiden Network (a better version of LN)
- Plasma (sidechains)

SEC is more likely to approve Ether ETF because officially it's a utility token (payments for computations) rather than digital tulip like btc. That's something that would take the market by surprise.

Yes the network is congested, wallets could be better, etc. Ethereum is only 2.5 years old and is already processing 3-4x more transactions than bitcoin. Don't make the mistake of comparing other projects' future promises with the current reality of ethereum.
