I have a portfolio worth 250k and at my job I make 16.50 an hour. I really dont mind the job it is landscaping and its nice to be outside but sometimes it can be demeaning to be a wageslave.
I currently am learning trading and have basically broke even during the learning process so far. Feel like im starting to get a firm grasp on things and learning i dont need to make a lot of trades to make a lot of money etc.
The thing is i can still work the job just fine and trade because trading really doesnt take much time but I feel like I may be better off without having the stress of having to show up for the job. It just seems like a waste of time to work for so little, especially when i make and lose what i make in a couple weeks working in one trade....

Don't listen to these retards, you already have a sizable investment in crypto and are set to "make it" in the next bull run. If I were in your shoes I would hold cash until you find out what the fuck the stock market is going to do. Lots of uncertainty right now and can easily see some sort of downtrend in the coming months due to it. Stimulus has been stalled for months, election year, corona vaccine hopes (lol) etc.

Once the market picks a direction put all of that inherited money in strong major indexes. If you want to trade, set aside like 5k or less to do so and treat it as tuition for learning. If you make money, fantastic - but if you lose it then it's not a major loss. Stay the fuck away from options for a long while and when you (inevitably) dip your toes in them use a paper account first and experiment with advanced options strategies (stangles, condors etc.) instead of just Yolo buying calls or puts. Be satisfied with sub 10% weekly gains on options instead of peeking over the fence at wallstreetbets gambling strategies. Learn risk management and how much of your account to devote to risky assets if you choose to persue them.
