Yeah, the problem is getting raped by crypto-to-crypto taxes

appreciate all the responses, brothers.
last question. do you guys use anything special to track your values? I've seen some stuff like blockfolio and coinstats mentioned before.

there's a few blockain voting technologies out there and a few (token not needed)

https://www.netservice.eu/en/research-and-development/crypto-voting

https://www.agora.vote/

etc

but when i googled 'online voting' and stuff like that, 99% of results were ''ONLINE VOTING IS A BAD IDEA AND HERE'S WHY'' - apparently it's a danger for democracy:

https://engineering.stanford.edu/magazine/article/david-dill-why-online-voting-danger-democracy

<snip>

Why should we be so wary about introducing computers, and in particular the Internet, into the voting process?

Computers are very complicated things and there’s no way with any reasonable amount of resources that you can guarantee that the software and hardware are bug-free and that they haven’t been maliciously attacked. The problems are growing in complexity faster than the methods to keep up with them. From that perspective, looking at a system that relies on the perfectibility of computers is a really bad idea.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? ELECTRONIC VOTING IS A BAD IDEA BECAUSE ''COMPUTERS ARE COMPLICATED THINGS'' what the actual fuck

guys?

The typical 25-34 year old is a fucking debt slave consoomer, and you talk about net worths.

Yeah it's fucking pathetic but imo it just means if you have your shit even mildly together you're at least beating the competition and you get to flex on the normies.

2017 memes were fun for sure. But the current state is just pathetic.
(To be honest, I couldn't stand Atlas Shrugged. My patience nowadays for empty political theorizing is pretty thin, though. It's just so useless).

Yeah, the board's whole purpose was to contain crypto from /g/. The general quality of posts was never good, but there used to be tidbits meaningful thought. I haven't seen much of any value here at all lately. Maybe that one post about recent Fed monetary policy, but it's impossible to discuss monetary policy on nu-/biz/ without being run over by lots of screaming about da jooOOZ and not a lot of numbers.

There's always value in networking, of course. But I personally find it tiring to not have a place to really let loose and be actually honest in thought for once. At least, not a place with good context. I don't know if you've ever had to suffer through industry events or conferences, but MAN. Words fail me to describe how awful that shit is. If we can ever get entrepreneurship general going it'll probably eventually shift to primarily discussing specifics of strategy (e.g. best approach to FB ads/how do I pay tariffs/do I have to pay state sales tax to x if y). I think a lot of the mutual benefit will probably simply be the community itself. It's lonely having to be fake all the time. Plus, dabbing on wagecucks is pretty funny.
