>beans never heated all the way but eat anyway

>fire off some pistol rounds into the dark
>still hungry so eat the rest of food but still hungry

>guess I’ll go to sleep
>laying in hammock and suddenly feel sharp pain in stomach

>remove tick and lay back down
>roll to one side
>hammock flips and I’m hanging
>manage to unzip and fall out

>roll to other side in slip and hammock flips again
>no zipper on this side
>reach knife and cut myself out
>rage quit hammock and fall asleep on ground
>wake up freezing
>relight Fire
>wake up at dawn shivering uncontrollably
>glasses frozen over
>relight fire and warm up
>pack everything and go home
>back warm and comfy in bed by 7:30
>sleep till noon
I haven’t been camping in 10 years. I limit everything to day trips now.
