also, it's really hard to underestimate just how transformational Starship will be. 100 tons to orbit for $1M is the current cost and capability goal. That means 10x more cargo for 1/20th the cost compared to this

concept rocket that Roscosmos hasn't even started building yet. That cost undercuts even Electron. It's literally two generations and multiple orders of magnitude ahead of the closest competition.

I've been shilling it and I own none because my broker is shit and won't list SPACs

I'd be long as fuck SpaceX and Momentus is directly linked to SpaceX's success

>Think retiring outside of a US metropolis is out of the question and as alien as retiring on Mars
What's wrong with retiring on Mars?

Starship's fundamental promise is to be the cheapest rocket flying, and carry 150 tons to orbit. Yes, cheaper than Electron or Falcon or Soyuz, while carrying more than Saturn V. Elon's goal is to reduce the cost of payload to Mars by 5 orders of magnitude. For obvious reasons, this makes it much cheaper to put things into Earth orbit.

Starship is currently still in the flying prototype stage. The engines exist and work but occasionally melt, the Starships themselves have mostly stopped exploding by now. For cost reasons, the entire thing is just welded out of stainless steel rings in a field in Brownsville Texas.
