There are tons of great blockchain platforms being developed, Neo, Ethereum, Cardano, Icon, Wanchain, VeChain and Walton come to mind. Some of these will make it, some wont. But the scaling problem is about to be tackled real good. (Plasma, Trinity, Raiden Network)

After this IoT platforms will be the next big thing because interoperability with crypto platforms and IoT devices will add so much value to so many industries (fintech, insurance, supply chain management, medicine) it'll launch the whole market into fucking orbit.
