I'm eventually going to get around to making an easy-to-post image to compile our tax info. In the meantime:
- ASEs, coins, rounds etc get taxed all the same in the USA, face value legal tender etc doesn't matter.
- The rate is UP TO a max of 28%
- Can be lower, maybe even 0%, depending on other income, other capital losses, deductions etc
- Individual states may have their own taxes
- Only certain transactions get reported, can't tax what they don't know about (in Minecraft)
- This is for us Americans only, bongs euros etc can avoid taxes by buying certain coins

Of course it's "just an option" now, but how long until they're all like that? Remember when having the chips in your drivers license and passport and credit card was "just an option"? Now they all have them.
