Has this piece of shit unironically bottomed out? Been bouncing off support for at least a month now and refuses to go below 5.50 a pop.

This is a warning. You will never get an opportunity like this again.

You need to dump your ChainLink in the next 24 hours, ChainLink will dump 99%. I have insider information that ChainLink will declare bankruptcy on the 19th of February, everyone needs to get their act together and sell now.

This is a historic moment on biz, where a real insider saves all the Link anons holding while the fags who hopped onto it past $10 get dumped on

Link/btc has only gotten worse during this bullrun and once btc corrects, link will be in free-fall. The token has no use case. Once it breaks through the $30 support, the whales will sell, small holders and speculators will have no idea why it dumped and will end up buying the dip, once they see it crabbing while btc and every other project in the crypto space moons, the panic will begin, and small holders and speculators will begin to offload, with the whales already long gone. Once it shoots through the $10 mark, unabated FEAR will rip through all stinky linkies. With all those who dumped their current accounts into this scam twitching at their arsehole continuously while refreshing bittrex. The $0.10 mark will be met, the largest panic in history will ensue. The final deluded Nodes will begin to go offline, and wagecuckers with their engineering salaries loaded up in LINK will be left with it stuck in their wallet, unable to move it to binance to salvage some self respect. The price WILL tank at this point to sub $0.05, and most probably sub ICO levels. From that day forward the deluded stinky linky wagecucking engineering nerds who bought this coin thinking it had fundamentals will go back to their jobs, with no money in their current accounts, to be made redundant by the next wave of pajeets arriving to undercut their wages. Deluded stinky linkies will hold bags FOREVER, with no job, no money, and no crypto. I warned you stinky linkies. There’s still time to get out. Sell NOW. Don’t be deluded, don’t be a stinky linky

So what makes LINK so special and hyped on this board? Does it have an advantage over other coins? I believe in the usefulness of Monero so I’m gonna buy tons of Monero, but I’m skeptical on LINK.

As Americans, our options for international crypto exchanges are limited. I have to stay unverified, which limits withdrawals. Hot tip: Best I've found is Payeer, which lets an unverified account exchange and withdraw US$1000 worth of rubles per day, directly to a Russian bank account or debit card.

HOWEVER, some banks are not cool with this. Raiffeisen just closed my account after finding out the deposits were coming from Payeer. Fortunately they transferred my funds to another Russian bank, so I haven't lost anything. (Note that there is nothing about crypto in their Terms and Conditions. They're breaking their own rules here.) BUT, this means to me that I may be putting a bank account at risk by depositing from Payeer or another exchange.

So does anyone know a Russian bank or debit card that doesn't freak out over crypto?

(FWIW, I can trace my chain of custody back to my own purchases with my own money, from my day job, about 5-7 years ago. So there's no sketchy money-laundering going on.)

So I was looking at the biggest LINK short on Aave. This is the address that borrowed ~1.6m LINK, the biggest borrow of LINK.

https://etherscan.io/address/0x108e4bfd9cda6243e1de53b71d08a0111974efc1#tokentxns

They then sent the borrowed LINK to this address:

https://etherscan.io/address/0x7e2e80e8250844dd4e558f13850380d5af8f0c61#tokentxns

This address itself is a little weird, it's had mostly small transactions in shitcoins and some small chainlink transactions. However 255 days ago it also received 1.6m LINK from one address and shortly sent it on to another. Can anyone figure out what's going on here?

Anyway, the address which borrowed LINK on Aave sent it on to the above address, which then sent it on to this address:

https://etherscan.io/address/0x0786449ce8be8022c2151d2efe0beb7f83a51159#tokentxns

This address has only been used for this transaction as well as a minor binance transaction. It then sent the entirety of this LINK on to here:

https://etherscan.io/address/0x4370d8c66b8c369cea16a8490c227ea1fcebad9d#tokentxns

Where it now sits.

tl:dr:

Someone deposits $22m USDC on Aave
Borrows $15m of LINK
Sends it on to several intermediary wallets and it now sits on the above wallet.

What's going on here? OTC sale? Hard to piece it all together.

Don't know about that 3d versatility. Just has to look good on a screen IMHO.
Ironically Link has one of the worst logos out there. It really kinda sucks when you look at it.
Project seems promising though, but damn that logo is fucked.

How much LINK are you buying on this dip?

I have $10k fiat deposit on its way to Coinbase, hoping it will arrive tomorrow. That'll get me up to First Lieutenant.

Hoping this dump maintains until then

Let's talk about what is a chainlink suicide stack

You may not know this, but suicide stack actually originated in chainlink. Other cryptocurrencies have adopted this term but it started right here on /biz/ with Chainlink.

>>/biz/?task=search2&ghost=&search_text=%22Suicide+stack%22&search_subject=&search_username=&search_tripcode=&search_email=&search_filename=&search_datefrom=&search_dateto=&search_op=all&search_del=dontcare&search_int=dontcare&search_ord=old&search_capcode=all&search_res=post

As you can see here, the first mention of a suicide stack referred to 1k LINK. Looking further down you can see several references to a 1k suicide stack.

Even earlier than that people mentioned a "suicide insurance stack". Below you can also see that it is 1k, with some people mention selling their 15k LINK stack and only keeping a "suicide stack"

Evening fellas,

I bought chainlink back when it was one dollar. I got a good deal and purchased 50,000 for a total of $25,000, so $0.5 per coin. Considering it was trading at $1 at the time I was getting twice as much as I would have on exchange.

I just looked at my wallet and realised it actually says "Linkchain"

I gather this is not the same thing as Chainlink?

Is there any use to Linkchain? Where can I swap my Linkchain for Chainlink? Ideally I'd get the same 2:1 ratio, so I can get 25,000 Chainlink for my 50,000 Linkchain

Bought chainlink in early 2018
Bought DMG in the public sale.

Just wanted to drop in and say that Pivvr and Ampleforth are scams.

Ampleforth is the most common scam here, but note nobody talks about the purpose of the token other than some vague comments about not being correlated to bitcoin.

Ampleforth essentially needs new buyers every day to maintain its current price + daily interest rates. Literally textbook pyramid scheme.

Pivvr is a pajeet shitcoin being shilled by a telegram group (proof has been posted elsewhere)

I DONT KNOW WHAT THE PRICE OF CHAINLINK IS

I have hidden all threads referring to LINK using auto filters. I have not looked at coinbase, binance etc. and don't know the price. I AM BUYING EVERY SINGLE MONTH. I take home $8k a month after taxes. $1.5k goes to rent, $1k goes to expenses, and I leave an additional $500 on top of that. That's $3k. The remaining $5k goes automatically into month. I have been doing this for 2 years. I don't know how many LINK I hold and I don't know what the price is. I will not check what the price is until staking is announced. I will not stop buying until then. I will never sell a single LINK. I will retire from staking income.

Have we figured out the reason for this pump?

To me it looks like three possibilities:

1) There is some inside information out there that hasn't been disclosed yet
2) Link getting above 5$ caused retail to massively FOMO in
3) There's a major institutional buyer buying in as we speak
