I don't know that you can call it a joke anymore.
It's more like extremely sarcastic bitterness.
I've never seen a joke beaten into the ground more than the 2 more weeks joke.
It wasn't even that funny to begin with.
That, or someone is extremely autistic and feels like they have to say some variation of 2 weeks every single fucking time anyone even remotely mentions a meme date or asks when the lawsuit will end.
Like it's their job or something, to demoralize people with 2 more weeks of purgatory "jokes".

The counter to these 2 more weeks posters are the years posters.
They fall into two camps:

Camp 1 are Years posters who correctly point out upcoming planned institutional adoption dates, that are in fact years away.
They are balanced out by also acknowledging upcoming planned institutional adoption dates that are only weeks (ironic) or months away;
like the planned ISO 20022 transition phases.
The years posters have been the most correct of any group.
But as we get closer to each of these planned institutional adoption dates, years posters will become months posters, weeks posters, and then days posters.
Progress is being made, even if it hasn't translated into price action yet.

Camp 2 are bitter sarcastic copy pasta years posters, that just want to spread their anger, despair, boredom, and depression to every other xrp bagholder.
So they only focus on the dates that are years away.
And ignore the institutional adoption dates that are much closer.
In addition to copy pasta, they also like to just spam variations of the same sarcasm and bitterness in most of their replies.
They intentionally or unintentionally try to kill conversation.

Don't get me wrong, we all get depressed, bored, and frustrated with how long it's taking for this case to end.
And some of us come on here to complain and vent.
But we try to do so in a constructive manner, and actually have a back and forth conversation.
