Anons I'm sick and tired of wageslaving and I've wanted to be working for myself for as long as I can remember. I have some questions that I would love some feedback on.

My basic problem boils down to 'paralysis by analysis' I think. I have heaps of different ideas, but I always have immense trouble picking something and actually getting started. I always end up looking for the 'best' idea and as with everything there's pros and cons and that ends up in me not doing anything at all.

With some other ideas I have, I noticed that there are others already doing it, which puts me off as I feel I should be looking to do something that no one else is in order to minimize competition, even though I'm aware that it's not about what you do (with some exceptions) but rather how you do it that determines success.

I have a marketing background and lots of experience in the hospitality industry at a managerial level.

What should I do? Any and all advice is appreciated..
