spent 10 years traveling, teaching ESL in Asia, being a freelance journalist, working in salmon canneries in Alaska, getting strung out on opiates, working as a line cook in New Orleans, getting clean, going back to teaching in the US, now working in harm reduction distributing naloxone and needles and connecting homeless people/addicted people to necessary services. going back to school to be a drug counselor.

it took me a long time to crawl out of the hole of addiction but now that i'm here i'm happy i went through it, because it gave me perspective and an idea of what i want to do in life (help other people)
