Most policy over the past 50 years has had the effect of crushing everyone below the upper middle class, the only reason minimum wage is an issue is because that is the kind of job that a ton of people are now working to live on as opposed to being a entry level wage. So yeah sure the wage is probably too low, but generally price controls cause unintended consequences and I suspect minimum wage would be just the same. For example it would most likely either have an effect on employment or prices, both of which disproportionately effect different groups. If there is less employment it hurts the people it was meant to help (since they now work less hours for the same compensation in the end), if prices go up, that is like a soft tax on the consumers (middle class) who are then getting further squeezed down into poverty. In this sense a minimum wage is like a band aid solution that doesn't fix the endemic issues that are causing wage suppression at the bottom end of employment.

Exactly

Im going away. Ill be back much later.

I hope this thread is alive.

/biz/ if you dont buy a large % of your folio in YFI, unironically you will consider the rope a few months down the road.

You have no excuse not to buy this.

Look up how it works. It's genius. Watch this recent video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opfkTb4ndvc

This is the second after BTC fairESTly distributed monetary instrument (its like buying btc at 1$ and even better because it has a platform and use case behind it other than plain currency)

Sometimes the answer to the make it problem is so simple and right in front of our eyes that we easily say: no way im buying, this already mooned.

If you buy now you can thank me later. Use "makeitanon" to thank me for changing yourlife.
