This is the biggest thing about all crypto. I hate drugs. I'm never buying them. Monero at least is not as inflated as bitcoin so it is still viable to use as a cash substitute. So far I only use it in private programming forums to exchange tools and specialized info.


If there was something like etsy that took monero, I think it would honestly skyrocket. It's not hard to make either. Hell, I would do it myself. I've worked on the backend of major commerce sites before. I know how to do GRC, organize a security team, manage a major project like that. But I don't know what the IRS thinks about monero. I'm sure there are other developers like me, but are uncertain if the legal risk is worth pulling the trigger.
