Biometrics are the future of identity for crypto, you can find lectures at Ivy Leagues going back to 2017-2018 talking about this. Anyone who is interested in blockchain identity but isn't integrating biometrics is wasting their time for multiple reasons.

It is not a different space, you are building a financial product and not tailoring the solution in a way that financial regulators require/are shortly going to require. Everyone who matters does agree that biometrics have to be integrated into identity btw.
