I am in the camp of that the lockdowns are intended to suppress the velocity of money printed in the last year which was in response to the liquidity crisis last fall. Thus the coof.

One of two things can happen:
1. Slow, extended recovery from lockdowns over the course of several years to slowly allow for velocity to pick up
2. Continued money printing and increased prices of essential goods and food, and price controls

I'm sure there's other scenarios but if all restrictions and lockdowns were lifted (let's say the vaccine actually works and all npc confidence was back) all of the helicopter money and pent up demand would cause inflation out the ass
