the funniest thing about the chapo trap house guys is how pathetically stereotypical they are. the upper middle class latte sipping juul puffing pseudointellectual urbanite white millenial marxist cringelords. they're literally parodies of themselves. i had no clue who they were until my gf dragged me to one of their live shows last february. the whole thing was basically just a bernie rally. the atmosphere was very cultish, whenever they mentioned elizabeth warren everyone booed and hissed. and whenever they regurgitated some sanctimonious decade old occupy wallstreet meme factoid the crowd erupted in "YASSSSSSSS CORRECT CORRECT WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" frenzy. i am lebanese and i was literally the least white person there. it was literally one of the lamesy things i have ever seen, i mean they even smoked juuls on stage. sitting there watching these smug trust fund babies run some awkward politically charged "comedy" show unironically reminded me of how hitler was able to come to power.
