Anon, I have bad news for you, that income is taxed at "ordinary income" rates. If you're selling them on EBay then you're getting paid in PayPal, I assume, and they report all transactions to the IRS.

Not even joking, some guy on another board was just bitching about getting fines and penalties because he didn't report his EBay sales income -- and because he didn't keep track of all his costs and fees, he had to pay taxes on the full amount, not just on his net profit.
