Yeah. It's going to be interesting to see what happens with China in the next two decades. About half of their population still doesn't live at truly developed standards yet labor in China is already growing too expensive for them to really remain the worlds sweatshop for much longer. Foreign manufacturers of high end goods may simply choose to just keep production in their home countries and lower tier goods will fall to less developed countries. China will also hit an aging issue soon too. Highly specialized middle weighting and creation of Chinese firms that can actually produce their own high value goods are going to be crucial for them to persevere.

I literally just donate money directly to shelters. I give to animal shelters I know, kids in middle America that have ended up homeless due to the drug epidemics and directly to schools in Guatemala and poorfag parts of the pacific northwests. Buying food for foodbanks or buying schools supplies is a great way to ensure your money isn't taken by bad actors too.
