Greentext because it's easier
>Be me
>Department store retail employee
>Coworker gets the coof, I worked beside her for 5 hours when she had it
>Tell manager that I probably shouldn't come into work because I don't want to take the chance of infecting old people (70% of our customers)
>No response until after my shift starts
>Call healthline, they determine that I should self isolate for 14 days
>Tell boss I should get tested or at least wait to see if I develop symptoms
>boss responds, youre fine, come in today,.
>I come into work, he explains that he talked to WorkSafe, he says he told them that we never got within 6ft of eachother and always wore masks (bullshit) and that they said employees should be fine.
>I go to clock in on the computer and I fill out covid screening form, have to lie that I "wasn't in contact with anyone with covid 19 in the past 2 weeks" and "no government authority has told you to stay home and self isolate".
>4 hours into my shift, sore throat and runny nose, short staffed, very stressed.
>Go to store manager (cunt)
>"I don't know what our policy is, but I have two of the symptoms, should I go home?
>(Very sarcastic and patronizingly) "if you think you have covid you should go home, tell your coworkers you're leaving them"
>Go home
>4am
>Fever of 102.8, getting tested tomorrow.

Is that not negligence and endangerment? Not to mention lying to the feds? Also manager cunt spies on us with CCTV to make sure we're cleaning hourly.

Could use some help /biz/
