The global economic impact of obesity was estimated to be US$2.0 trillion in 2014, or 2.8% of global GDP (Tremmel, Gerdtham, Nilsson, and Saha, 2017).

In 2022, the impact of obesity was found to eclipse US$1.7 trillion in the just united states alone, or 9.3% of the US GDP (Milken Institute, 2018).

In comparison, the estimated cost to provide clean drinking water to everybody on earth was estimated by world bank to be US$150 billion per year (World Bank, 2017).

If all fat people were removed from the earth, the rest of us would flourish almost immediately. this economic impact is larger than any other minority group you all love to hate on.

What is the correct response to this information? how do you treat obese people when you see them out and about?
