Sure, US is rather different, because you
a) have plenty of junk in higher finenesses (or whatever the correct plural for fineness is) and
b) don't have taxes on silver, whereas we have, but don't have them on junk.
But looking at greshams law, it probably would make sense to have a bunch of low fineness stuff to spend first, instead of wasting your good stuff on mundane purchases.

I'm in the same boat. Probably gonna get some, since they're among the lowest premiums (still quite high though) and the fact that they can't be worth less than 10€ is neat. Kinda prepping FOR the mad max apocalypse and FOR the globohomo future at once!
