Just got my mid year review

What should I do in this scenario? Do I give it my all or is my boss just expecting me to give my all for no reward.

I’m figuring I should give it my all and if they don’t promote me by my three year mark, I should just leave and use that experience to get a better job.

I'm down 2.2m....I'm back in 6 figure hell. If I make it though this, I'm gonna take profits next time.

I'll start: the moment a sector is hyping something up that you don't exactly understand, it's time to reevaluate your positions.

As an example, I was deep in profit when the NFT shit was blooming. And I didn't get it. So instead I tried to understand it. I certainly didn't get burned too bad but in retrospect I should have sold at least half of my position. Again, it's obvious in retrospect but I was totally drunk on gains. Dog coins were similar. I didn't get it. Could have sold for a lot of profit but didn't.
