You’d be surprised with how emotionally unstable the average person is, especially if they have zero experience with trading and only bought in because some trending Twitter jigaboo said “YALLLLL IMMA GET SUM FREE MONEY IN DIS SHITTT” or something.
I’m not looking to wish ill on the players who got in early, but the first dip is going to be the test of the average person’s temperament and risk tolerance across the board. Also the big dogs in the game won’t just brush off a catastrophic blow to their collective ego to this magnitude, if one were to wargame a scenario like this, one would suspect that those in power will pull out every stop/favor to make an example out of dissidents (or more sinisterly, give said dissidents a pyrrhic/symbolic victory with little lasting effect only to be memory holed by something manufactured to take its place).
In the age of the internet: trends/social movements might start from the grassroots, but they always end with a psyop.
