I present you IQDELET, our resident shillbot, who also landed a jannie position on /biz/, called like this ever since Kek blessed him with this ID.
He's been around here for what,.. close to a year now? Never missed a single thread, sometimes making up to 1/4th of the replies, and with at minimum 25 posts/thread. He was also very active on /SETF/ on pol, using the same spam tactics but even worse (up to 100 replies per thread, yup...).

Sometimes using differents IPs, sometimes under a single one. Most his posts are ctrl+P spam he post in every thread. Never got banned a single day for spamming, even though we called for the mods to do their fucking job countless times, but since he's part of the moderation team on this board he ignore all the complains concerning him obv.

For the first time since the 11110 Executive Order, the demand for silver bullion outpaced the industrial demand in 2022. As western currencies further decay into oblivion and banks continue to default, this trend will most likely be exacerbated. Fear always remain the first driver of markets.
Moreover, our governments are now knees deep in their muh eco transition, which will continue to take a toll on silver stocks.
And lets not forget silver mostly is a byproduct of other mining operations, which means if the demand of other metals decrease as a whole, the silver ouput will be proportionally lower too.

You answered your first question with the second one. Imagine the amount of silver countries were sitting on after all abandoning silver money around the globe in 1970. Suddently, several millenias worth of coins were pushed out of circulation. Across the world it was hundreds of billions of coins melted down with no immediate use (back in the early 70s the electronic revolution was in it's infancy, solar energy wasn't a thing either, etc..).
This huge amount of silver reserves helped a lot to alleviate all the years of silver deficits. But said reserves are now entirely gone. And this excess silver completely crippled the silver mining industry for over 5 decades, so it will take a long time before restarting it all over.
