...I have a 7 figure portfolio and I do this. I still have that poor penny-pincher mentality.

Does anyone else take the cheapest flight they can find too? Like I’ll take the flight where you don’t even get to pick your seat or take a carry on, you’re only allowed a “personal item”. So I’ll take a backpack or a duffle bag and jam pack it full of everything I need. This works best if you’re traveling to a warm destination. Whenever I fly to Mexico or the southwest I can cram a good 8-10 summer dresses in a single duffle bag so I don’t have to pay for any bags.

Everyone complains about Spirit Airlines but I love them because their base fare is so cheap because they cut out all the frivolous bullshit. I’m not fat or an alcoholic so I can take a 4 hour flight without needing a snack or a drink.

It’s so satisfying being able to fly out to Vegas for $20 or only spending $60 on a flight down to Mexico City. It helps I live in Chicago so we have a ton of cheap flights out of O’Hare.
