1:
>Leading player in the STO/security token meme
These guys are already in a joint venture with bitfinex to launch the first legally compliant, zk-enabled (so privacy-enabled) security token exchange (https://www.bitfinex.com/rm-2019-05.pdf - page 10)

The keywords here are FIRST, and LEGALLY COMPLIANT- the Security Token/STO market is going to a massive hype-factor in the coming bullrun, and Dusk will be leading the charge together with bitfinex

2:
>Leading player in the Central Bank Digital Currency meme
These guys are already closely advising the Dutch central bank (DNB) in the implementation of central bank digital currency.
Reference: https://dusk.network/news/dusk-joins-cbdc
For those not aware, privacy is HUGE in Europe, hence the emphasis on GDPR and privacy regulations in this part of the world. There is a lot more going on behind the scenes between Dusk and DNB- these guys are very crypto savvy and are no doubt already testing the possibilities with the Dusk platform for an implementation of the Dutch CBDC.

Especially since scaling solutions such as zk-rollups are not far away from implementation to take transaction capacity to 3k+ TPS within the next 18 months, we are looking at a legitimate candidate for a privacy-enabled, legally compliant backbone of the Dutch Central Bank Digital Currency.

3:
>Leading player in the tokenisation meme
Dusk is already working with one of the largest Dutch shareholder registries to tokenize up to 35,000 newly incorporated companies, easily tens of millions of euros of tokenized value right there just as a start, for a project with a sub-$30 million marketcap.

'Firm24 CEO Martijn Migchelsen. “Thanks to Dusk and LTO we are now ready to deploy our Tokenized Share Register, automating corporate actions, and lay the foundation to connect our customers directly with the world of alternative finance.'

>jewelry is stupid
>parties are stupid
>getting god or the government involved with your personal life is stupid
The only good thing about marriage is the vows and they're practically worthless these days considering how many marriages end in divorce.

If a woman doesn't agree with all of the above and still insists upon marriage, then she's not worth being life-partners with anyway.

Now when I say this town is out there… I mean it’s out there. The end of the earth. It’s barely accessible half the year.

The ground is permafrost so we can’t put pipes in – everyone here has to shit in a special bucket which is collected several times a week. The food is atrocious – and it’s even worse coming out the other end.

I first bought into crypto in January. I’d read about coins on /biz/, and I could have sworn I was some kind of King Midas. Every coin I selected would shoot up. My wealth doubled, the tripled, and by spring I had lost track.

I convinced myself that I really was living in the best of all possible worlds – there was no other explanation. It was like magic. I hitched a ride south one weekend and went on a shopping spree, buying up all the expensive wines I had lusted after back in university.

I called up my only living relative, my hag of a grandmother, to gloat about my success. I rubbed it in her face. Said I was the happiest man on the goddam planet. She disagreed:

“I doubt that. There’s a mongoloid down the hall from me who is the happiest man in the world. You should see his stupid face. Though I’m not supposed to say that nowadays, right?” I could hear her laughing to herself. She continued: “Life isn’t all about money. That kind of happiness is fleeting. Take it from an old broke bitch like me – without you here, I’ve never been happier!”

“Fuck you, you dumb cunt. I hope you rot in that cancer ward.” I said, and hung up. We never spoke again.

>Stocks that pay monthly dividends
Faggots will say it's a meme. But after you've been doing it for 10+ years, and you reinvest those dividends, you'll be amazed how fast your money snowballs. I make about $1000 a month from my stocks as of now. I'm not touching it until I start making $5000 a month in a few more years. (Investing for 10 years).

>Class Action Lawsuits
Take advantage of them. Every month I get checks in the mail ranging from $5 to $75. I've been signing up for these things for years! I just sign up for the ones that don't require any sort of proof. You'll get the minimum payment, but sometimes that's good enough for me.
https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/open-lawsuit-settlements/

>Online Surveys and Games
Some say it's a meme, and it is. But if you know tricks, or even know how to program scripts, you can easily do the high paying surveys (which are usually the longest) in 30 seconds. I make about $50 a month between surveys and games. You can make minimum wage if you play blackjack all day LOL

>eBay - Sell your junk
Don't throw anything away. Old speakers? List it on ebay. Old sneakers? List them on ebay. Half used bottle of lube? Sell it on ebay. I sell all my junk on ebay. I list it for dirt low prices, but make the buyer pay shipping. I charge a fuck load for shipping and end up having some shipping cost as profit. I have quite a bit of shit listed on ebay ranging from keyboards, used car parts, pieces to ikea furniture, home decor bullshit, etc. All of it is listed for $2-$10 + shipping. Someone will buy it. Make sure to add no warranty or returns to your listing. Even if I did accept returns, nobody would pay $10 bucks to ship an item they got for $2 and paid $20 total for. Nom'sayin? You're offloading your junk for money.

I'm not saying that's not a valid strategy, it is. But you still have to deal with cyclical problems as you choose when to start re-positioning to bonds. My strategy does involve risks too, but the main risk is loosing out on gains, not loosing the value of my investment, at least so long as I'm in a defensive position. The downside is 3% average returns, the upside is 30% average returns.

I maintain that buying and holding does have it's own risks, since you can't hold forever, eventually you'll need to pull out to pay for the things you were hoping to use your returns for, or if you're faced with an emergency of some kind. By accepting the risks of crashes, depressions, stagflation or other crises, you accept higher risks of loosing the value of the money you put in when you need it.

What's the best portfolio to profit from a trade war?

Here's mine: Dollar General Stock, Denny's Stock, TIPS, TIPS based mutual fund, US govt bond mutual fund, and I Bonds.

The scenario I'm envisioning is a trade war leading to increased costs and then either a recession or stagflation. Depending on which of those situations emerges I'll either stay steady for stagflation or move all the bond investments into stocks once a recession nears bottom.

I found it was really hard to pick stocks that would withstand both a trade war and a subsequent bust, since the ideal would be a large sized company that doesn't have significant exposure to China and almost all such companies are private. I also don't trust corporate bonds since most companies are over-leveraged and that'll probably be a weak point in a financial crisis.

Thoughts?

thanks for actually posting something worthwhile. Can you tell me more about the ATM business? How do you go about buying and installing an ATM at a business? Or are these just ATMs that you have set up at the Condos you own?

What's with the Mass Email software? Did you write it yourself?

Either way great job dude, I wish I had the startup capital to get rental properties or do the ATM thing. Either way, you've given me something to think about, thanks

Alright guys, I'm here to help you. I traded crypto for probably 6 months (June 2017 -December 2017). I now invest, mostly in safe stocks and a bit of small options just so I can grow my money a bit while I pay off my house.

I'm here to tell you HODL is a meme put on you by ((them)). Crypto is bleeding out, and you can keep your money if you'd just take it out now, and be PATIENT with it, waiting for a time to reinvest. Let someone else hold while you wait for a good time to get back in.
Why wouldn't you? Are you afraid of a 10% price jump? Why are you not more concerned with the 200% bull run. Stop chasing quick cash and think about how you can make some real money. Just wait a bit. Pull out, and even if it jumps 10 or 20% right when you do, dont fucking worry about it and THINK before you put the money back in if the market is going to breed a REAL bull run, not just artificial pump and dumps that are DESIGNED to make you lose money. You can make it, it doesn't matter how far down you are. But 10% pumps aren't what you should be worried about, real bullish markets are what you should be chasing. Right now we are obviously in a bear market, and you should wait until it is OBVIOUSLY not. You're losing money because you're afraid you may not make every single cent of profit, and because of it you inherent every single risk.

And yes, right when you pull out it will pump, but who fucking cares it's going to go back down more. Look at the monthly charts, not the hourly. It'll go lower.

TLDR; pull out now and wait for a good time to put back in, and don't chase pump and dumps. Play smarter

The true key to happiness, in my opinion, is farming wives.
Step 1) Begin dating an 18 year old
Step 2) Marry and immediately impregnate at 20
Step 3) Stop having children with that wife at 28
Step 4) Divorce or set aside that wife and begin Step 1 with a new woman
It's in my blood, but I hope I can achieve that life soon

I'm pointing out that your perception of risk is entirely out of touch with the realities of the market.

Diversification is a meme for idiots who are content with market-level returns, no point doing that if you're below 100k if you want to make life-changing amounts of money.

From the time I started in late august all the way up until late january I'd never held more than 4 tokens at a time, just focused on fundamentally sound ICOs, undervalued platform projects, and a couple low cap shitcoins here and there for fun.

But then again what do I know, I'm only up over 100x in less than six months.
