As a college student searching for internships (particularly ones for internal auditing), what are some good ways to set myself apart from the stiff competition? How important is technical expertise becoming in entry level accounting jobs, and how can I familiarize myself with all of this technological change? I feel like part of the reason I have trouble securing job offers is because I'm not at the forefront of all of this change, even though I'm basically a kid learning about my career. Any general guidance is appreciated :)
