Yeah I tried to quit 4chan several times and I just end up using various obscure forums or comment sections of blogs/portals and eventually come back. It's not that I lack friendship, I have a few really close friends.
It's just that nothing really beats the freedom and meritocracy of anonymous imageboard posting where everything withers out eventually. Even the most memorable screencapped posts will be forgotten. But all that matters is what you hold in your memory and your heart. And despite it maybe sounding cringe, 4chan is very dear to me. And how could it not be, when it's already my 10th year on here, a decade of enganging with frens I would not trade for anything else in this world.
