>circling the drain
On June 30th, 2019 I remember watching a "generational top" at $3.45. I have been in since twelve cents.

We will be just fine.

Based citizenship by descent bro. I did this too, in fact I found out that I was already an Irish citizen by birth - if you have an Irish parent it literally takes 20 business days to get a second passport. It's incredible.

A couple of things to take account of:
>look at places where a norweigian passport can get you visa free (it is an incredibly powerful passport)
>make sure you understand US extraterritorial tax before you move abroad
>understand what opportunities exist for you overseas (especially w/ american corporations that need an employee with a strong second citizenship)

Congrats anon, many opportunities await you abroad. Let me know if you have any questions.

>the west is being flooded w/ immigrants
>every single one of them is remitting half their salary back home
>billions of people are being sustained on this type of income
>those people are becoming more educated, outcompeting westerners, and becoming wealthier, albeit incrementally

If you're in the West and you're itching to make a ton of money, head to the developing world. There are a gazillion opportunities to take your crypto gains and control a little fief of your own somewhere in the world.

>middle/upper-middle class housing development
>trash pickup services
>private security
>financial/microfinancial infrastructure
>private schooling
>basic groceries
>mass market electronics

Et cetera. There are so many options out there. All that remittance money is going somewhere, might as well soak some of it up.

Yeah sales is tough, especially right now. However I work at a small software development agency (we build everything from small websites for restaurants to enterprise tech for f500s and universities) and our government work is going absolutely nuts right now. We're overhauling basically every government website in Chicagoland (or in the running for it) as we speak.

I may have understated how small we are - my boss (the founder) and I are the entire sales team. We have 14 engineers and a project manager though. So I'm gonna *try* not to blow the budget since it'll come right out of my paycheck lol.

Problem is it's for a government agency in Nevada and they're headquartered in, yes, Vegas. so it'll be fun

My girlfriend is a special ed teacher and I work in tech. We live in a state that's great for public employees (illinois) so it works out. She gets great benefits, a pension, and her district is paying for her grad school on nights.

Salary-wise she's at the top end for her field, too, 74k after 3 years of teaching. Friends of mine in other states (FL/TX come to mind) are in the neighborhood of 30-40k, which is practically unlivable and most are still supported by their parents.

Once we're married + homeowners (already halfway there), I'm also planning to get on her health insurance while I build my startup.

>financially viable
Splitting all of our bills has never made things so financially easy.

My girlfriend and I have similar base salaries (roughly 50k each) - but I'm in tech sales whereas she's a teacher and I'm virtually doubling my salary in commission whereas she makes nothing extra. We both set up a budget based on 100k (total, not each) and budget everything around that -
>rent
>food
>groceries
>savings
>transport/transit (we share a car + live in a walkable area so car is only needed for a few things/going to the suburbs)
>gym membership (we both work out every single day, keeps me sane and her hot)
>insurance
>going out
>her dog (that fucker is so expensive)
etc etc
And everything I make in commission goes straight into a high-interest savings account as I plan to buy a condo, or, if I can save enough, a small multifamily property in the very near future.

It's insanely valuable to have a partner that is as financially literate as you are. we budget down the dollar and never have financial problems and our budgets really arent even that high.

Personally I've seen the opposite. I'm 25 and every girl I go out with always lives in a really nice apartment that her parents are helping her out on the rent with. Many, many such cases.

At least in chicago, may be different for your area. Can't tell you how many girls I've seen here with really nice river north/streeterville/lincoln park/lakeview/west loop apartments working ENTRY LEVEL jobs, even girls that are still in school included too. They're in their "city girl era" or some dumb shit like that
