If things really do go parabolic soon you might
a) be buying rice with PMs
b) be selling rice you stock up on now for PMs
c) might not have rice to buy or sell
Kidding. I hope. Apparently the USA produces 80% or more of its rice. Assuming that is true.
No matter what, it may be appropriate to start stocking up, as if that 20% left that they import vanishes for a bit, prices of other things may well raise.
