Greetings anon! Thought that having no inner monologue and/or mind’s eye was bad enough in of itself? What about the implications on life itself, especially within the socio-political structures of the day? Allow me to introduce the concept of level capping.
We are all mostly level capped at birth. Only through extraordinary efforts can we push past the boundary that nature intended for us. What am I talking about? IQ, of course.
I am sure you are all well aware that IQ is, for the most part, hereditary. My argument is that IQ is a level-capping restriction on an NPC, determining their role within the infinite game of life itself, as defined within the finite game of the society to which they belong to, encompassed within the grander finite game of the scale and development of civilisation.
Level cap can be directly correlated to individual value. The nature of man is hierarchy, and this hierarchy is today determined by mental capability, which in turn is determined by IQ. Therefore, it stands to reason that the higher your level cap the higher your worth or value.
