In his lawsuit in Florida he's claiming that most of his BTC are in a trust, and trust can only be accessed via shared codes. So basically in order to access a lot of his BTC he would need everybody else's approval. I'm assuming some of these people are dead and/or hate his fucking guts, so basically he technically """""owns"""" lots of Satoshi's bitcoins but he'll literally never be able to access them as long as he lives.

IMO the real conundrum is that there is no Satoshi. CSW was "Satoshi" in some sense but he's not the "Satoshi" we all thought of aka he will literally never have access to Satoshi's bitcoins and he relied on everybody else for almost everything he ever did.

Yeah but gold has little utility in the real world.

Cryptocurrency (potentially, once again, 99% is pure vaporware that will never come to fruition) could have incredible, convenient, helpful real world utility that will benefit our everyday lives. If smart/wealthy normies see that utility, and believe they can make money off of it with some reassurance that they won't get scammed, they will pump it.

IMO this "utility" stage either won't come, or won't come for another couple of years.

Bitcoin will be back below $3500 in no time at all. Be patient. We're in a bear market until further notice.

All good points. BAT is a different beast so it's tough to compare it to other coins/tokens.

On the one hand I feel that its value isn't based entirely off of Vaporware and speculation like a lot of these coins are. I think that's both a good and bad thing in terms of its valuation. So when you say >anywhere from $100 to $400 I'm very very skeptical because people look at BAT and think "browser coin", not "next Bitcoin" or "next big thing" (like LINK).

BAT has potential real (online) utility that helps us put a value on the token. We use the browser, we see the updates, we read how the Brave team wants to implement the token and we currently use the token to trade, sell, and donate to websites. That gives us a little stake in the value. The problem at the moment is that:
>the Crypto market is EXTREMELY speculative and loves vaporware/pie-the-sky dreaming , so actual utility takes a backseat to "potential"
>the majority of the Crypto market does not agree with/cannot comprehend the current and potential utility of BAT

I think the bear market has done a number on the vaporware/future tokens, and now we must be patient for the Brave project to keep moving forward on its timeline.

Redditors are followers, not leaders.

Redditors are the kind of people who will buy into a coin after it 100x and then talk about how they knew about it back when it was 80 gwei. Or if it turns out to be a pajeet scam, they'll be the first in with their "I told you so" posts. It's a follower mentality over there, they don't have the balls to throw down new ventures.

Hope this shit 100x so they eat shit.
