To bring our own coin on the market as an independent organization, capitalizing on profits and gaining huge popularity. It's a dream I have. It wouldn't make us less dependent of import but it would finally bring back some pride to the people, and perhaps too a position on the global market. The euro is done for sooner or later anyway, and why not be assertive now when we are already having a minor patriotic revolution seeking to replace the established order.
I already coined the idea, I hope at least the council considers it. They likely have more pressing matters than this absurd power fantasy. But who knows maybe they catch on... If they don't, nothing is lost and I did my part. If they do, my delusions of grandeur are no longer delusions. :)
