>The difference is that many of us, outside of whiteness, understand that we can love an animal and it can be part of our family but it is still an animal and we are a person. We are able to distinguish between the two. But it seems for many they are unable to recognize the difference.

>We also have parameters regarding affection. Many people share videos where their dog is licking all over their face and mouth and yuck! Dogs not only sniff and lick backsides but they can and on occasion do eat their own feces. But white people are okay with the dog’s feces riddled tongue being in their own mouths?! Some will even share the same piece of food with their animal.
>It’s disgusting and yet predictable the way white people view and value animals versus how they view and value human life.
