I came to the conclusion some years ago that it's mostly chaos and the only way to trade effectively is long term DCA or short term swings based on TA alone. When I say TA alone I mean it. NO news. NO fundamentals. NO interpretation of said fundamentals and NO attempting to anticipate price action based on fundamentals. Do not play earnings. Do not try to scalp around FOMC. These are easy ways to beheem thyself thoroughly and irrevocably.
