So gold is still pretty down overall over the past year/5 years. This would mean that even though the economy is starting to crack, the government is still being responsible with their money printing/interest rate adjustments. If GOLD starts creeping up, you guys should be extremely worried because it means the dollar is losing power due to inflationary pressures. This explained the steep climb in 2012 when things were not looking too good and the government kept printing and printing

Now we are facing a deflationary spiral, the same one that Japan is currently suffering from. We must do everything in our power to prevent this, because once it happens and prices start dropping, the Fed will print and print until hyperinflation kicks in, and suddenly gold will 1000x overnight.

All eyes are on the Fed right now since they are between a rock and a hard place, they must keep increasing rates or else there will not be any cushion in case we go down. But they cant raise the rates too high or else people will not be able to afford their interest on their loans. Shits fragile as fuck right now
