SoCal household generates over $300k/yr.
Between mortgage, family expenses, cars (you are forced to get a larger car if you have more than two), and private school (LOL LET'S %300X THOSE EXPENSES HOPE THE SEX WAS GOOD), we're blasting through all of it and living paycheck to paycheck. We haven't changed anything because we don't have to, but if another shock comes along I will need to change something major -- like putting kids in *retch* public school.

Ultimately, we'll be fine because, believe it or not, we are being financially conservative as compared to the average family this area. The key is finding a woman that can actively participate in managing finances so you're both on the same page.

There are many guys in my situation who are on the knife's edge of being absolutely btfo because they're blowing through it all to keep up appearances for their wifeys and families.
