Right but have you heard/read/researched anything about how these old school mm would communicate with each other through geometric patterns they saw forming in charts or formed themselves? My theory is that high level and mostly "obscure" knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and metaphysics that was passed on from antiquity (Thales being the first derivatives trader, Pythagoras and his teachings, all the way to mathematicians/alchemists from the middle ages to Newton and the continuation of a hidden stream of knowledge amongst the smartest men of each epoch) found its way into the markets naturally and early, and in the early wallstreet market there were some important players with occult knowledge that both saw how the "random" market produced fractal formations (and other "patterns" or desicions made on things such as astrological cycles)manipulated the market to display these formations and communicate with each other. I think this still happens today, as you mentioned when you said that "TA works beautifully for the movers", but its all been confused and complicated by algos and digital trading etc and different from the times before computers and the ability for anyone to draw and measure charts.

Hope this makes sense, if anything maybe one day you'll ask some knowledgeable old timer that has some insider knowledge.
