My credit score was 790 up until literally a week ago, now it's at 750. It was a complete shock.

I'm thinking this has to do with me buying a car with a $5k down payment on my credit card, combined with the hard credit inquiry for the auto loan@ 3.6% 60mo. I also got crowns for my front teeth, which cost $4k and again, I paid using CC. I thought I was being clever by racking up free points and didn't think of the short-term effects to my credit utilization ratio.

I have since paid off the cards and wait with bated breath. Will my credit score go back to normal?
