I’ve lived through multiple bubbles, I’ve seen some spectacular dead cat bounces on the way down as the bubble unwinds, but this might be the most obvious and hilariously dumb dead cat bounce I’ve ever seen.

First, the justification for buying right now is that we are heading INTO a recession, and because we are heading into a recession, the federal reserve will not have to hike rates as hard as they were going to. This is obviously retarded on its face, but I’ll let you in on what happens during a recession: companies start missing on earnings, and they miss hard. Their stock valuations plummet overnight. They start to unwind operations, they cancel projects, layoffs begin. Future growth projections for the company are slashed, investors pile out of the door as the stock continues a slow descent downward, the opposite of behavior during a bull market. Clearly on the basis that this is about to happen is…retarded, to say the least, but that’s what bulltards are unironically doing right now.

Secondly, let’s try and take a step back and look at the current state of the market. “Shiba Inu” is apparently worth 10% more than it was two days ago. Shares of GameStop were up 15% today (lmfao).

Does that sound right to you? Does that sound like a market turnaround based on sound fundamentals in the economy? I know bulls are the niggers of investing but come on guys, you can’t be this dumb.
