I've been writing calls for T to catch some extra yield, and QYLD has my interest as well.

>save 10k or 6 months of living expenses and put it into a high yield savings account as an "oh shit" fund
>max out your 401k match
>pay off all debt, including your mortgage
>invest an additional 10% minimum of your take home every paycheck

How you invest is up to you, I'd highly reccommend just buying 100% SPY or NOBL until you get comfortable with individual stocks or whatever. Do not sell, just keep blindly buying them. Read A Random Walk Down Wall Street.

Hey anon. Dividend stocks come with the tradeoff of slower growth but are typically more resilient in market downturns. They are good to DRIP and DCA during market highs imo. They are usually consumer defensive, utilities, energy (fuck energy imo), telecom, and the like. Pic related has my divvy choices, ignore the growth/momentum etfs. I only buy those during big corrections/bear markets.

Look into "dividend aristocrats", payout ratios, NOBL, credit ratings, and sector performance to start.

I'd think mid 2021 when all the debt finally makes it way to the banks/REITs from the tenants and homeowners that didn't have to pay the last several months per the federal ban on evictions/foreclosures.

There's plenty of reason not to LT hold 3x funds. Between the decay and the 3x losses the only reason they look good rn is because we have been in the most insane bullrun in financial history for a decade. Hell look at the S&P 500 averages historically and look at our annual gains now, this shit is not normal.
