The truth is that the US government is stacked to the rafters with incompetent, lazy, diversity hires and other losers. I went through TSA in Dallas/Fort Worth last week. I swear it was like the security screening was being run by children who had never done it before. The level of raw stupidity was almost unbelievable. And THAT is who your demoralizers expect you to believe will force a new digital currency on you.

The historical fact is that the US government fails at every major project it undertakes. They can't so much as organize a one-car parade. The only things it has ever done well are killing people and destroying infrastructure and even that they do so inefficiently that they can only afford it when funded by the magic money scam that is coming to an end.

The dollar is going to crash and the US government will NOT be deciding what replaces it. They had that privilege only through an accident of history. Those circumstances no longer exist.

Stack on friends. That's what the insiders are doing.

The fud suggesting that buying real estate and renting it out is a better use of your wealth than PMs is hilarious! In the USA anyway, commercial real estate is already in collapse and residential collapse is coming soon because both are based on an unsustainable debt bubble. And leasing out residential property is a huge risk. Not only can you get deadbeat and/or destructive tenants that are hard to evict and impossible to collect from, but the administrative branch of government has demonstrated that it is willing to simply suspend by unconstitutional order the terms of leases and relieve tenants of the obligation to pay rent and block eviction entirely.

And real estate is very easy to confiscate. It happens in virtually every revolution or coup. So called "land reform" (which means the abrogation of property rights) is a perennial event in the history of the world.

Buy gold and silver. It never fails. It never goes to zero. It is the hardest asset for government to confiscate.

I would say that the chances that silver will be replaced by tech advances is far greater than the chances that platinum will be monetized globally. People have a tendency to underestimate how fast the market works when a certain price point for a particular resource is reached. This is why the peak oil people have utterly failed for decades with their predictions. If the price of silver goes high enough you will see it replaced in many uses and quick.

If you are really worried about the future liquidity of big bars of solid silver (I'm not), go to the LCS right now and trade them for coins. My experience has been that the LCS will give you a better deal if you trade rather than just sell.

This. If you have wealth already accumulated, it is almost a no-brainer. There is no place other than PMs to park your wealth that isn't a cancerous scam-nest.

If you are trying to generate wealth with PMs, it is a bit more of a gamble. But I would say you have a much better chance of a moonshot with PMs than with stocks, real estate, bonds, or crypto. So the result is the same. All roads lead either to PMs or poverty.
