I bought at $8 but then also around $15 and $30 and eventually sold before I was in the reds.
Nevertheless, I had fun learning C# and Python smart contracts with NEO, so for that it was the best platform. Newer things like Rchain look better though, and Ada also finally picked up their functional Plutos or what's it called system, which will probably be much better than the AVM.
In any case, none of those (ETH, NEO) ever had a good chance of solving consensus so I'll be moving to DAGs if this shit market survives at all.

Yes, it's not decentralized and it has absurdly high deployment fees.

On the flipside, it has fast free transactions. And you can write smart contracts in C# and Python.

The andvantage of Ethereum is that it was there first and is going over 1000 ICO's now, but proof of work is not the best idea and Solidity is one of the worse ideas.

Etheruem won't scale and has shit fees. NEO deployment cost thousands but EOS might be better than both.

Eventually, google or IBM or whatever will make a platform that pleb programmers can get started with and those will fade out.

It is true. Think of the whites as the Mario of the races. Well balanced but not dominant in any one realm. In order to be at the top it seems that, much like a Fallout 4 character, they have a shortage of attribute points. They can be athletic, but usually they lack intelligence. They can be balanced all around, but this equates to average at best. The only way they can truly be smart is to spend all their points on intelligence. The result? Autism. Zero charisma.

Contrast this with the Asian man. The Asian man can have 10 IQ, high charisma levels, and can be decently athletic as proven by their superior martial arts abilities.
