Oldfag here that actually used to use this board for non-crypto things, and try and reply to real content. Been seeing a lot of the V-ID company and something seriously caught my eye, the memes claiming to "verify with your eyes." I don't think any of you Anons really understand how deep that fucking meme goes for the real world. I don't think you have any fucking idea how big of a problem these VIDT guys are saying they're solving here.

Googled some words for a current review of identity and document fraud. The first result that came up, "The 2018 Global Fraud and Identity Report" by Experian, a major credit reporting company. It's only a 16 page report with a lot of graphics and shit, so you could really just read it yourself (maybe 1 page of actual 12 pnt TNR text). This document has nothing to do with crypto, this has very real implications for /biz/inessmen alike.
https://www.experian.com/assets/decision-analytics/reports/global-fraud-report-2018.pdf

Summary of how it relates to VIDT,
>75% of businesses want advanced authentication and security measures that have little or no impact on the digital customer experience.
>Business executives share a growing concern about fraud over the past 12 months. 45% significantly more.
>84% of businesses said that if they were certain about a customer’s identity, the need for fraud risk mitigation would be reduced.
>88% of US businesses said, "We would be very interested in more advanced security measures and authentication."

So overall, what I'm saying is, this is probably, surprisingly, one of the first fucking crypto projects that really actually have some real world use-case and is surprisingly needed in business today. So I read up about VIDT. They're already partnered with real fucking businesses, and you retards have the audacity to suggest that it's a piece of shit? I've watched some stupid fucking frog shit its pants for the last two years for a fucking blog post from Google saying they *could possibly use it.*
