Are you serious? Binance chain is entirely developed and maintained by Binance and CZ, you can't run a validator node on it, BNB allocation is/was centrally decided, Binance uses profits from its exchange to buy back and burn BNB token, etc. It's just an exchange token and a centralized EVM chain gas token, how can you compare it to real credibly neutral crypto?

CZ has the power to kill the entire chain if wanted. All 21 hand picked validators respond to him, it's just one call and less than 1h away. It's sad how this is even considered crypto.

Doesn't /biz/ remember what happened just two months ago? Binance halted the entire chain for 8 hours. People couldn't move their funds and were at mercy of Binance starting up the chain again. What if next time they decide or are forced not to resume the chain? It's ultra centralized and depends on one company staying alive and not malicious. This is the very opposite of crypto.
